• We're a non-profit organization founded for the purpose of promoting economic development in Effingham County.  Having grown to over 250 members in just six short years, the Chamber has taken a strong role in the local community by working with businesses to create jobs and strengthen the county's tax base.

• The Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce is an association of business, professional, and concerned citizens whose goal is to:

• promote, support and strengthen businesses in the community

• solicit for and promote new business

• promote tourism in the community

• promote growth of Port Wentworth

• work for effective government to facilitate the goals of the Chamber of Commerce and create a viable environment for business interest.
